Hello people! How have you been? Back here again, with some delay, but I promise to catch up. And after giving our dear Mr Trump a break, this week we have the pleasure of taking him back as a basis for our learning. He's had a few complicated weeks. Some newspapers and different sources are beginning to make statistics and articles about how the new president is taking these first few days. The quick summary of these analysis would be that he has done a lot in a short time, although not necessarily something of all that is good. Hola gente! Cómo han estado? Por aquí de nuevo, con algo de retraso, pero prometo ponerme al día. Y tras haberle dado descanso a nuestro querido Mr Trump, esta semana tenemos el gusto de volverle a tomar como base de nuestro aprendizaje. Ha tenido unas semanas complicadas. Hi everybody! Back here to keep on learning from everyday news. This week our main contributor has been a little bit down so I've considered to be much more interesting to take a look to the other side of the Atlantic, to the EU. For sure you are done with all the Brexit thing. But this week the original one came back to life, the Grexit. Greece has been in the exit gate from the EU since 2010, when the financial situation in the country made it necessary to "rescue" them by the Union. And by rescue we mean a huge loan. The conditions for this loan were so severe that they unleashed a political crisis in Greece and a first attempt to leave some years ago. This was solved with some extra time to reach the conditions, but by the end of the past year, when there was an test, turned out that our Greek friends didn't make it. Hola a tod@s! Por aquí de nuevo aprovechando lo que la actualidad nos ofrece para seguir aprendiendo. Esta semana nuestro principal proveedor de aprendizajes ha estado algo gris y me parece mucho más interesante dirigir la mirada al otro lado del charco, allá a la UE. Seguro ya están cansados de escuchar hablar del Brexit. Pues resulta que esta semana se reavivó el original de este proceso, el Grexit. Grecia ha estado en la puerta de salida de la UE desde 2010, cuando la situación financiera del país obligó a un primer "rescate" por parte de las instituciones de la Unión. Y por rescate nos referimos a un préstamo descomunal. Las condiciones impuestas para ejecutar ese préstamo fueron tan duras que provocaron una crisis política en Grecia y un primer amago de salida hace unos años. Aquello se superó concediendo algunas prórrogas para alcanzar a cumplir las condiciones impuestas, pero a finales del año pasado, cuando tocaba examen, resultó que nuestros amigos griegos no lo pasa...

Hola a tod@s! Cómo les ha ido en la semana? Aquí estoy de regreso para seguir aprovechando lo que nos deja el día a día. Y la verdad es que esta semana ha sido muy interesante. Vamos a centrarnos en las decisiones de nuestro querido presidente Trump, en relación con la entrada de extranjeros a los Estados Unidos. Por si no están enterados, el caballero tuvo la excelente idea de restringir la entrada de personas de ciertas nacionalidades a primeros de semana. La única razón esgrimida, que provienen de países musulmanes. Y ya todos sabemos que los musulmanes son malos. Muy malos. Bueno, el resto del planeta parece no estar tan de acuerdo con esta premisa como "Mr President" y... la verdad, no estoy seguro de que nadie más que él piense eso. Hi everybody! How is your week going? I'm back to keep on seizing the opportunities that everyday is giving us. And to be honest, this has been a very interesting week. Let's focus on the decisions made by our beloved president Trump, related to the entry of foreigners to the US. If by chance you are not aware, this gentleman had the nice idea to restrict the entry of people from certain nationalities early this week. The only reason given, that they are coming from muslim countries. And all of us already know that muslims are evil. Big evil. Well, the rest of the planet does not seem to agree with that premise of "Mr President" and... to be honest, I'm not really sure that anyone else than himself thinks like that.
